RECENT IMPROVEMENTS

Room to Learn. Space to Grow.

Our campus continues to grow with our students. In 2024, DTA added eight classrooms and renovated the outdoor synthetic turf used for sports and recreation. We are also adding a playground for our youngest students and completing a sensory gym with a ball pit, climbing wall, and equipment that supports movement, regulation, and sensory development.

We continue to invest in the campus with one goal in mind: serving our students well.

Professional Campus Security

The safety of our students and staff is fundamental. DTA combines trained personnel, monitored security systems, careful planning, staff training, and ongoing coordination with local law enforcement.

Professional Campus Security

Trained armed security professionals are present whenever students are on campus. They also become familiar with our students, families, and staff, creating a visible presence while recognizing the people who belong here.

Security and Preparedness

The campus uses controlled access points, monitored systems, and security technology to maintain awareness and support a rapid response when needed. Faculty and staff receive ongoing safety training, and our procedures are reviewed as needs and best practices change.

Partnership With Metro

DTA works closely with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department through ongoing communication, planning, and coordination. This partnership strengthens preparedness and helps protect our school community.

EDUCATIONAL STANDARDS

Accredited and Committed to Continuous Improvement

Accreditation reflects DTA’s commitment to strong standards across our General Studies and Judaic Studies programs. Our educational program, leadership, policies, and practices are evaluated against recognized standards, helping the school remain accountable and continue improving.

Desert Torah Academy is accredited by the National Council for Private School Accreditation, the National Accreditation Board of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch, and the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools.
