Hot Lunch

DTA offers a monthly hot lunch program. Menus, ordering dates, and deadlines are emailed to families before ordering opens. All lunch orders and payments must be completed through the FACTS Family Portal.

Important Ordering Information

  • Place all orders before the deadline listed in the monthly email. Orders cannot be added or changed after the deadline.
  • Review the full order carefully before submitting payment, especially when ordering for more than one child.
  • On hot dog days, select either one hot dog or two hot dogs.
  • On pizza days, select either one-and-a-half slices or two-and-a-half slices.
  • Select only one serving option. Do not select both options as extras.
  • Students in Toddler 1, Toddler 2, and Toddler 3 may not order hot dogs for safety reasons.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • To cancel a lunch order, call the school office no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day of the order.
  • Approved refunds are processed at the end of the month.
  • Lunch credits cannot be transferred to a different lunch order.

How to Order Through FACTS

  • 1. Open the FACTS Family Portal and log in using district code DTA-NV, your username, and password.
  • 2. Open the menu in the upper-left corner and select Students, followed by Lunch.
  • 3. Choose the Month view and confirm that the correct ordering month is displayed.
  • 4. Select the student’s name and click New Web Order.
  • 5. Choose each date and enter the quantity for the menu item offered that day.
  • 6. Repeat the process for additional children.
  • 7. Review the grand total, click Submit Order, enter payment information, and click Pay Now.

It may be helpful to review the full monthly menu and make a list of the dates you want before beginning the online order.

DTA offers bus service for students traveling to and from Summerlin and Desert Shores. Routes and pickup locations are planned according to registration and demand.

Bus service is billed for ten months of the school year.

Bus Service Includes

  • A bus monitor or teacher on the route each way.
  • Licensed, inspected, and insured transportation.
  • A backup bus and driver for dependable service.
  • Route updates and parent communication through WhatsApp.

Exact stops and times are shared with registered families after the route has been finalized. Space is limited.

Extended Care

DTA and Torah Tots offer extended care before and after regular school hours. Extended care is available Monday through Thursday and Friday morning. There is no aftercare on Fridays.

Families who need extended care only occasionally may use the program at $4 per hour. Occasional charges are added to the family’s incidental account.
